Our speech and language therapy services provide support in diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in both children and adults. SPEECH AND LANGUAGE DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY:
• Speech disorders (articulation therapy)
• Delayed speech development – therapy for speech disorders in children with aphasia and/or childhood apraxia of speech aims to build and develop the child’s communication and language skills.
Consultations and therapy in the following areas:
• Myofunctional therapy (assessment of the structure and function of the orofacial area and therapy; preparation for frenulum surgery and post-operative care; preparation for orthodontic treatment; exercises to improve breathing, swallowing, biting, and chewing functions)
• Speech therapy kinesiotaping – used as support in therapy for individuals with oral motor disorders or abnormal muscle tone in the orofacial area.
